PET FIRST AIDFOR YOUR FAVOURITE FRIEND

Loved pets deserve excellent care and that includes giving them first aid if necessary.

When people think of first aid, they often do not think about their pets. Pets have accidents the same as humans and knowing what to do should the worst happen is a simple thing to learn with basic training. Pet first aid is not aimed to replace veterinary care but it will help you to recognise an emergency, calm your pet and reduce the risks of delayed treatment.

SECURITY DOG First Aid Course Dates

Dates & Course Information

Security Dog First Aid

This course is approved by NASDU for the requirement of pet first aid in their standards. First aid is important to know for your security dog not only to comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. The nature of working with dogs will pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work or transport.

We have designed this course to meet the NASDU learning outcomes and added a few extra modules to ensure full understanding.

The first part of the course covers the basic part of the first aid so it is ran concurrently with the Pet First Aid Course; when that part is completed the Pet First Aid students leave and we carry on with the specific Security Dog modules.

All courses are ran on a Sunday from 12pm to 5pm
